The city of Valencia hosts the World Indoor Athletics Championships 2008.

This competition is held every two years and is one of the most important dates on the international athletics calendar. More than 600 athletes from 130 countries are expected to arrive in Valencia to take part in this major sporting event, where spectacle, excitement and new records are all but guaranteed.
